In order to stick with a tight/aggressive style what should you do with a premium hand / a mediocre hand / a low suited-connector when you are in the big blind and only SB and maybe one other limp in?

I tend to raise from there with any playable hand...I will explain after I read the responses.

If someone is playing tight then bet a lot. He will probably fold a lot if he doesent have a good hand. If he does you will know it

It depends... Is this limit or no limit? Tourney or ring game? If a tourney, what stage? How do the other players at the table play? Is there a limper or not? If there is, from what position?

I would check most of the time to disguise my hand, but of course there are many situations I would raise.

A hole in my game that I have changed is if I am going to play a hand I do not give the blinds a free flop. It is paying off when the flop is all low cards. If you let the blind limp and and the flop is all small and the blind leads out you have no idea if he hit or not. Most of the time the blind is not going to pay and extra blind with 27o. This also puts you in control of the hand.

I agree on chris.Thats a huge mistake people make. They let people limp in and get a free shot at catching a good hand. I always tell myself when playing. "you arent playing for free bitch"
