Hey Fellas-

I recently purchased a 700 chip set off of E-bay. And was thinking what would be the best way to spread each of the chips evenly through out the players.

225 White
225 Red
100 Blue
75 Green
75 Black

I am having a hard time figuring out the chip displacement throughout the players.

*Lets just say if each player put in 10.00 each*

All I am wanting to know is some ideas of the values of each color chip I have to equal the ammount of $10,000 to each player.

Could someone please post some ideas to help a bro out!

It depends on how many people play really. I just did a quick little thing for 6 people. It's not really completely even, and some of the chip amounts are not the best... but here you go...
8 - $500 chips (Black) $4000
11- $250 chips (Green) $2750
10- $100 chips (Blue) $1000
30- $50 chips (Red) $1500
30- $25 chips (White) $ 750

Just a quick little thing you can try. Plus you still have chips to change them out later if need be.

10,000 is a lot of chips to start with... I mean for the WSOP it works... but they have 2 hour levels...

I'd organize my tournament more similar to the online tourneys... 1500 in chips to start...

I give out 10 10s...8 25s...6 50s... 4 100s... and 1 500 dollar chip...

that's 1500 for each player... and allows a lot players to play...we start with blinds of 10-20... and move up about every half hour...

For my home tournaments, I follow the Paradise $5 SNG blind structure. You start with 1K chips and the blinds begin at 5/10 then,10/20,15/30,30/60,50/100...... I like the low blinds/stack early on for my home tournaments because it keeps most guys in the game for about an hour, then when the blinds hit 50/100, they start dropping like flies. By weighting the steep rises to the later stages, you can still get the tournament over quickly, but give the dead money more playing time.

I have a 500 chip set and I do it like this

10 white $5 chips
10 red $25 chips
2 green $100 chips
1 black $500 chips

We do a color up and race to get the white chips off of the table right before the blinds go to 50/100.

But you guys have to understand that i have purchased 700 chips, and the way your telling how to spread them is adding up to only 400 of my chips or around there.

Not just 1 black chip for $500 when i purchased 75 black chips.

Got any other ideas fellas!
